Bai Bin, male, Han nationality, born in October 1966, Sichuan Jiang'an people. He received a bachelor's degree in History from Sichuan University in 1988, a master's degree and a doctoral degree both in History from Sichuan University in 1991 and 2001 respectively. From 1991 to 1993, he acted as associate lecturer, then lecturer (1993-2000) and associate professor (2000-2007) at Sichuan University; since 2007, he has been appointed as professor at the University.

受哈佛燕京学社资助，1999-2001年以Visiting Fellow身份赴美国哈佛大学研修。2011年入选教育部新世纪优秀人才支持计划。2014年入选四川省学术和技术带头人。

Funded by Harvard-Yenching Institute, from 1999 to 2001, Prof. Bai went to Harvard University for research and studies as a Visiting Fellow. In 2011, he was included by the Ministry of Education in the Program for New Century Excellent Talents in University. In 2014, he was selected as an Academic and Technical Leader in Sichuan Province.
