Wang Guo, Sichuan Neijiang people, Ph. D. in History graduated from Peking University. Research field: interaction between China's nation, society, economy and culture since the 17th Century. His present research focuses on combing multiple links existed at home and abroad in both ancient and modern times, to explore the evolution of urban-rural relations in modern China and the development of the Chinese Communist revolution.

Courses taught by Wang: urban and rural areas of modern China, China's state transformation under the global background, history of economic environment in modern China, Chinese Communist revolution under global perspectives, history of Ming and Qing thoughts, and modern China moving toward the world, and China in the 20th Century (a course taught purely in English for foreign students), etc.
