Luo kai, born in 1983 in Hengyang, Hunan. From 2002 to 2006, he studied undergraduate courses at Shanxi University, while from 2006 to 2012, he learned from Prof. An Jiesheng of the Center for Historical Geographical Studies of Fudan University, and received a master's degree and a doctoral degree successively. Now he is a lecturer at the Teaching & Research Office of Ancient Chinese History, the School of History and Culture of Sichuan University, teaching courses like an Introduction to Historical Geography and Special Subject of the History of Sui and Tang Dynasties for undergraduates, and Regional Historical Geography for postgraduates. His research fields include history, humanity and geography, history of the Southern and Northern Dynasties as well as Sui and Tang Dynasties, and history of political system, etc.
