Li Lan, Sichuan Nanchong people. She got a bachelor's degree in History at Nanjing University in 2007; then started to study for a master's degree in Quaternary Geology at the School of Geography of Nanjing University in September 2007, and received her a doctorate of Geology in Nanjing University at the end of 2011; since 2012, she has been working at the Department of Archaeology, Sichuan University; from 2016 to 2017, she acted as a visiting scholar at the University of Washington.

Main research field: environmental archaeology, climate change, geological archaeology.
