Dong Huafeng, male, was born in 1982 in Xiyang, Shanxi. He got a bachelor's degree in History in 2005, acted as visiting scholar at the University of Michigan from 2008 to 2009, and received a PhD degree in History from Lanzhou University in 2010; now he serves as an associate professor and master student supervisor of the Archaeology Department, School of History and Culture of Sichuan University. He is mainly engaged in the research of Buddhism archaeology, Dunhuang Studies and unearthed epitaphs. The courses taught by him include History of Archaeology, Archaeology of Dunhuang and Western Regions’ Buddhism, Ancient Chinese Art History and Archaeological Studies on Religion.
