Huang Bo, born in 1982, Chongqing Changshou people, PhD in History. He graduated from Sichuan University and stayed at the University as a teacher. Now he is a lecturer of the School of History and Culture (Center for Tibetan Studies) of Sichuan University, teaching History of the Southwest Nationalities, Chinese Culture and some other courses. With a research field mainly targeting at history and culture of Tibet and history of the Song Dynasty, he is currently in charge of the “Study on the Relationship between Early Guge Kingdom’s Politics and Religion”, a youth project launched by the National Social Science Fund of China (NSSFC), and “Study on Politics and Geography of Tibet’s Ngari Prefecture during the Ming and Qing Dynasties” sponsored by the Fundamental Research Funds for the Central Universities, and has published over 10 papers in academic journals such as World Religions Research, China Tibetology, and The Historical Geography On China's Borderland.
