Yangmin, male, Han nationality, born in Chengdu, Sichuan. In 1991 he was enrolled into the History Department of SCU. In 1998, he got a master’s degree in Ancient Chinese History from SCU and since then stayed at the University. In 2008, he got a doctoral degree in Specialized History in SCU and he is now Deputy Director of the Department of Ancient Chinese History at the School of History and Culture of SCU. His main research directions encompass: history of Three Kingdoms Period, Wei and Jin Dynasties as well as Southern and Northern Dynasties, history of Ba-Shu culture, and protection and development of cultural heritage.
