Bao Chengzhi, male, Han nationality, born in Tanghe County, Henan Province in July 1972. He was enrolled into the Department of Chinese Language and Literature of SCU in 1991, and received his bachelor’s degree in 1995 and later he stayed at SCU to work; in 1999, he was enrolled into the Specialized History major of SCU as an on-the-job postgraduate student. He got a master’s degree in History in 2002 and a doctoral degree in History in 2009. He now serves as  associate professor, and Deputy Chairman of the Council of the School of History and Culture (Tourism) of SCU. For years, he has been engaged in the work of teaching and research in the field of Chinese urban history.
