June 23rd, 2016, a signing ceremony was held in the Center for Tibetan Studies of SCU to mark the conclusion of a memorandum of cooperation between the School of History and Culture of SCU and the Department of Archaeology, University of Exeter. This ceremony was attended by Prof. Huo Wei, Dean of the School of History and Culture, Prof. Li Yingfu, Deputy Dean of the School, and Prof. Gillian Juleff, head of the Archaeology Department of the University of Exeter, together with some postgraduates of our School. After that, Prof. Li Yingfu and Prof. Gillian Juleff exchanged views on issues of common concern, such as the archaeology lab, the cultivation of professional archaeological talents and overseas investigation and excavation. Both sides expressed that they wish to take this opportunity to beef up cooperation and promote mutual development.
